You may be eligible to apply to be a member of Team Canada-ISEF 2020 to represent Canada at the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Anaheim, California from May 10-15. ISEF is the world's largest pre-college celebration of science that brings together over 1,800 students from more than 80 nations to compete for over $4 million in awards, scholarships, tuition grants, internships, scientific field trips and 3 grand prizes, including a $75,000 university scholarship. Team Canada-ISEF is generously sponsored by Youth Can Innovate, a program of the Gwyn Morgan and Patricia Trottier Foundation.
The application process for Team Canada-ISEF is quite different to a regional fair or the CWSF because it has several stages and ISEF has stricter rules. Your Team Canada-ISEF project, which may be a continuation of your CWSF project, must be approved BEFORE you begin work on it. (You may submit your existing CWSF project only if you began work on it AFTER January 1, 2019 and will complete all work on it within a year of the start date.)
As a result, it is important to apply for Team Canada-ISEF as soon as possible so your project can be reviewed and approved by the Youth Science Canada Scientific Review Committee (SRC).
