Here we are in Australia!
Over the past few days we have been all over Sydney! We have been snorkeling in Botany Bay (which was absolutely gorgeous) and were able to see some of Australia's unique aquatic life. We also ate hamburgers with pineapple and fried egg, a little different than we were used to, but they were delicious.
The following day we climbed the Westfield tower and visited the outdoor Sydney skywalk just under 300m in the air! It was similar to the glass floor in the CN tower, but it was outside in the open air! We then visited Darling Harbour, the Sydney aquarium, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge after a lunch of some exotic Aussie fruits (passionfruit, mango, lychee, kiwi and pineapple). After a dinner of pancakes at Pancakes on the Rocks we went to mass at St. Mary's cathedral (which was breathtaking).
Yesterday (Christmas Day) we went to Bondi Beach early in the morning where the huge swell was fun to play in. After opening gifts we ate Christmas lunch with Juliet's family that consisted of cold turkey, chicken, pork, tabouli, fried rice, potato salad, fresh prawn, and salad with Christmas pudding for dessert! Yum!!
Today we are on our way to the Blue Mountains and we are currently sitting in the car driving on the left side of the road!
